Scott Fresener's NEW T-TV Talk Show
T-TV Talk ShowThis idea has been in the works since the days of VHS. Now that YouTube is popular and now that streaming videos are easy, we dusted off the T-TV format. Think of T-TV as the industry's first and only Talk Show for garment decorators. Each show will feature Scott Fresener doing interviews with industry experts, printers, employees of U.S. Screen, shop tours, trade show news and more. Check back often because we will be shooting two shows per week!

Show #1 features Terry Combs – a long time friend of the industry and salesman for U.S. Screen. Terry was a garage printer back in the 80's and moved into a Production Manager for large screeners and then wrote articles for Impressions, Screen Printing Magazine, Printwear and others, plus was a popular guest speaker at shows.

FastPOSITIVE Film Update

Dear Customers;

Due to the ready availability of film for film positive output, and our company's strong focus on the T-Jet line inkjet-to-garment printers, we have come to the decision to discontinue our line FastPOS films. While we may reintroduce the line at some point in the future, we recommend you contact one of our dealers for your film output needs.Click Here and find dealers in your area that have the icon, meaning Screen Print Supplies. You can also find suppliers on our Industry Links page under "Equipment & Supplies".

We will continue offering FastRIP and FastINK for film output. The key to a great film positive with a dense lay-down of ink and black halftone dots is our FastRIP software and our dye-based FastINK.

Commentary by Scott Fresener
Scott Fresener I am often asked about the state of the inkjet-to-garment industry. I just returned from the large FESPA Digital trade show in Geneva Switzerland. While there I attended the first ever two day Digital Textile Symposium. It was a real eye opener. Most of the speakers were from the roll-to-roll side of the business. But, inkjet-to-garment was the hot topic. One of the large consulting firms,I.T. Strategies, said that TODAY, inkjet-to-garment printing accounted for over $900 million dollars in yearly retail sales of product, BUT, by 2010 it would account for over $10 billion retails dollars in product sold! Much of the digital textile business growth is predicted to be in inkjet-to-garment.

I also came away from the Geneva show and the recent ISS shows in the US with the feeling that inkjet-to-garment was ready to explode. Screen printers who were on the fence are jumping in with both feet as evidenced by the fact that we simply can't keep up with the demand for our T-Jet Blazer line of printers. And, one thing that was very clear from my trip and meetings with my dealers in Germany, Russia, Holland, Israel and others is that the T-Jet brand of equipment is still the #1 brand worldwide and global demand is very strong. If you have been on the fence and undecided, now is the time to take a second look at this amazing technology.
